To where from where ?

MY LBS ships Via UPS because they have an account, that bills Monthly.

Touring Bikes come in and Go Out for the OR Coast and Transcontinental Tour finishers.

A year or two ago I used The Best Lowest Bicycle Shipping in America and Worldwide | ShipBikes and they were great. The price was better through them than other places I checked. All went well.

I have used bikeflights.com for two round trips with great success. I will be using them again in June. A while back I priced a hypothetical shipment using them and ShipBikes. Bikeflights was slightly cheaper.

In case you might be in the USA (since your profile doesn't give your location)...

I've shipped large items (not necessarily bikes) via Greyhound and got good bang for the buck. The catch is that the recipient needs to pick up the item from a Greyhound bus station.

It's been a while, so I don't know if the service has changed, or how pricing compares to a service like BikeFlights. You can check it out at www.shipgreyhound.com .

Private International cheap shipping is an Oxymoron .

Why use a shipping company that be anti-bicycle --- that be against bicyclist ---- of driving on the roads??
UPS.
As their # on the delivery vans are so thin to conceal them, as the color of the digits are darker tone.
This be deliberate, so that cyclists cannot read the #, by the time the van is far enuff away.
Gotta look for the 'plate.

^Shipbikes is awesome!

You can buy a really sturdy box from them for like $40; they ship it to you. Then, when you're ready to ship your bike, you notify them, and they have FedEx pick it up, on their account, so you get the discounted commercial rate. So basically, you can ship your bike in one of the best boxes on the market, designed specifically for bikes- double-walled and all, and it costs no more than if you were to find a crappy free box and ship it yourself through UPS/FedEx/etc.

Used them when I sold my Venge on Ebay, and it worked out GREAT!
