New bicycle....

So it's my wife's birthday today, and as such I picked up a Roubaix SL4 Sport (for myself) on my lunch break. Not sure if the sales are nationwide, but they're on sale for a little bit of time for $1600.

I also looked at an Emonda, but it was a demo, one size too big, and I like the 11-32 a bit more than the 11-28. That one was $1500. This Roubaix seemed like a steal to me.

Took my Romin Evo off my Crossrip and the dealer threw it on for me.

I'm coming back from an ankle fracture (and time off), so I opted for these pedals that fit my spd clips that also have flats (plus sometimes I like to just tinker around with my son in a parking lot). Are these pedals considered dorky? They are lighter than my mtb spd's anyway, so figured what the heck.

Nice bike. Good deal. Sorry you got injured. What'd the wife get for her birthday?

Had to read this twice to be sure I was seeing correctly.

And will you be sleeping outside in the garage this evening?

haha...

She got everything she wanted like a Nutri Ninja 1100W and a bunch of Sephora stuff...and of course we're going out to eat for her birthday.

It's about 40 degrees out and was snowing this morning, so I just whipped it around the local church real quick. Definitely feels good.
