Pick a bike shop name

This is my bike shop name short list. Which do you think is best?

1. Revolution Cycles
2. Mt. Cheaha Bicycle Repair
3. Safe Journey Cycles
4. The Spokesman
5. The Bike Pit

Any advice is appreciated.

1) A quick google search yields dozens of Revolution Cycles. May or may not matter to you, but I prefer unique names.
2) Do you only repair bicycles, or sell them and parts too?
3) Out of the options listed as-is, I like this best.
4) Does not scream cycle shop, if it pops up in a Google local search. While I get the "spoke" reference, at first glance I'd probably assume it was some sort of business clothing/accessory store.
5) Like the name, but Google again says there are a few others in the country.

That covers it pretty well. If I had a bike shop I think I'd name it Enjoy the Ride, maybe add Bikes, or Bicycles, or Cycles to that for the Google factor.

I like that your pick is #3 because I came up with that on my own without help from googling bike shop names. I like the idea of having "journey" in the name because I've gone through so much to get to this point. So it's a reference to life's journey as well as the journey one makes when riding a bike. It's personal to me. I'm hesitant about it though because it's not as memorable as some creative names that I have seen like "Big Kahuna".

Bikey McBikeShop?
Sir David Attenborough Safety Bicycle Emporium.

Bikey McBikeShop won the popular vote but was considered too undignified to attract the more prestigious brands. It will be relegated to the smoking corner on the far end of the alley.

Semi-seriously, I kinda like Spokesman. Or Spokesman's Cycling Emporium. As long as it has "emporium" in the name, I'm happy.

not sure about Safe Journey...kinda projects an image of grizzled touring types with loaded panniers and reflective vests.

the Bike Pit sounds like a grungy, low-budget co-op place...

Spokesman Bicycles has some promise.

Too close to Mr. Cheater.

3. Safe Journey Cycles
I don't like the word "safe." It's too PC or something. Journey Bikes is better. Odyssey Cycles?

4. The Spokesman
A shop here has Spokesman on employee shirts.

5. The Bike Pit
Sounds too much like an eatery, or a place that is dirty.

Any advice is appreciated.
The name is probably one of the least important decisions you'll make in business. If you're near Mt. Cheaha, Mt. Cheaha Bikes is fine, or maybe Bama Bikes?

I say either 3 or 4. I'll also toss in "Two Tyred Bike Shop" (or Emporium, your call) for free.

I'd suggest Zigflob Bicycles if you want a unique name for Google searches.

Otherwise, they sort of all sound the same.

If your emphasis will be on commuter-type cycles for families, then number 3.

But I really do like "Bikey McBike Shop". I just love whimsy.

Yes, that is my emphasis. I want to sell used commuter bikes to start.

I love Odyssey Cycles. That name kicks ass. It makes the top of my list now.

Are you located around Anniston / Jacksonville / Oxford? Just wondering since you mentioned Mt. Cheaha.
