How would it feel different?
People here talk about the rigidity of the bike's frame, what are some signs that a bike frame is well made(strong) or not?
|
Here is my limited experience:
A bike that feels more "rigid" on the ride doesn't necessarily mean it's stronger. It means that when you ride with it feels more stable and less vibrational on the road. For example you'll feel like that the bike is set on a track on a road on which it smoothly and predictbly moves forward. While a less rigid bike will feels more jittery. Hard to describe. Gotta experience it yourself. |
Thanks for the tip. Vancouver Baby!

If your riding an all steel frame, you will really feel the surface of the road,, now if your riding a combination of steel frame and carbon fiber fork, then the vibration is not that strong, ahh, what i"m I talking here, a steel frame bike is very strong conpared to ang aluminum frame, and aluminum frame its material is somewhat brittle, as for the other frame material like tintanium and carbon fiber, i have no i dea how strong and how long they will last
