Nice! Going camping?

No camping...but I am planning a few 27 mile trips...figure I should be prepared.

I got a pretty good workout yesterday pushing 20 miles with a group on their gravel bikes...This 34 pound beast is great. I figure the more stuff I can fit in there to weigh it down, the harder it will be to pedal. Every time I get on this thing, then back on the Roubaix, I feel faster.

No camping? Then what is the frame bag for?

I've experienced the same thing going from a road to mtn bike. Mtn bike feels like your pedalling through sand; get back on the roadie and I'm afraid to go over 20 cause it feels too fast!

Just for storage. My saddle bag is full...innertube itself takes up a lot of room, then I carry tire levers, multi-tool, leatherman tool.

Inside the frame bag there is a pump, cell phone pocket, keys in the little section. Mostly empty space.
I will also keep a long sleeve shirt and my water bottles...heck I could probably put some shoes in there if I really wanted to.

I figure the extra space is nice.

I found it on amazon for $15 when looking for storage options. It's the Ibera Large frame bag. Haven't been out with it yet.

Essentially everything I do on the mtb could be done with a bit of caution on a gravel bike, but I like having the mtb tires and the suspension in the front.

If I could have only one bike, it would be a Diverge, but since I can have two, the 29er is just my play/training toy.

Took it for a short spin at the LBS after they put on the bar ends, and I really like the positioning of them.

Today was a road bike day ;-)

Cool. I definitely recommend the footlong.
