Tire recomendations?

I have a Sun EZ-3 delta trike. It has 16in front and 20in rear wheels.
The tires need replacing and I'd really like something a little more cushy. The roads around here are jarring my fillings out. Wish I could afford something with a suspension.

What would be a good tire for this bike? It's just used on pavement.

Fatter is better. For the rear, look for tires that are at least 2" wide. 40 psi will probably be enough air pressure to keep you from pinch flatting. The front wheel on a delta is less significant but I'd still use as wide a tire as will fit and at relatively low air pressure.

For the rears, assuming they're 20" 406 (as opposed to 20" 451), look at BMX tires, like the Tioga Powerblock, which are available in a wide 1.95" width. They'll be wider than road going 406s, generally, good examples of which would include the Primo Comet and both the Schwalbe Kojak and the Schwalbe Marathon. Kenda Kwest is an inexpensive and common 20" tire.

As for the 16" front, I don't know that size market at all, and would steer you over to the folding bike forum and ask the Brompton owners, whose bikes use that size. I know Marathons and Kojaks are both available in 16", but it'd probably be nice to have a less expensive option.

It would help to know what's on there now. And what size 16" - 305 or 349?
