Choosing tires

Hi bike forum in have a cannondale the rims that came with the are entry level rims need to change them I live in nyc the roads arent the best pop spokes a few time thinking on purchases jet express rims coudnt find reviews on them does anybody out there have these

dunno about that brand. my experience with spokes has led me to getting wheels with more spokes, having them regularly tensioned & wheels trued by an expert

Price and material, in this case carbon, don't correlate well to wheel strength or durability. There are wheels around $500 that have a reputation for being indestructible, well almost.

I would stick to a what you have and put 25 or 28 tires if possible that have good puncture protection.

I doubt those wheels will help you much and they could easily crack hitting the inside of a pot hole. Carbon has very very poor impact characteristics.

I commute on my enves. I bunnyhop my enves. I know it's customary to assume that carbon asplodes upon contact with pavement, but any worthwhile carbon rim will be able to hold it's own against a pot hole.
