I tell you what post something bike related on eBay at a ridiculously low price with the money back guarantee and I will buy it. You get your money and I get the satisfaction of getting the worlds greatest deal (or not).
Sound fair?

You also keep replying, mr. bone.

Tell you what I'll drop the price of my campy groupset to $9.99 just for you.

You're trying to pull a fast one, but I am not salvageable. I maintain that you are foolish for having taken the deal to begin with, thereby aiding and abetting a scammer. The campy deal has thereby been revoked.

1. I never thought that I would receive the item. Stated that from the beginning.
2. I thought it would be fun to see what would happen if I ordered it knowing there was no risk involved.
3. I wanted to share my adventure into the dark side of eBay with the BF forum. I thought there would be some interesting comments and I was correct.
4. I now realize that some BF members take themselves way too seriously and need to lighten up a little. For the rest of you I hope you got a chuckle out of this.
I am on bicycling, boating, kayaking, motorcycling, hunting and shooting forums. Bicyclists are generally the nerdliest by far.

Fine by me, I'm getting paid to do this. When my shift ends and real life starts again, the last thing I do is spend time on bf.

Till then I enjoy the thought of getting the deal of the century and reading your posts. Some are quite amusing.

Well, you are right, it is your hobby and your money, exactly what the counterfeiters are counting on. Hammer on with it if you like supporting what is probably built using child slave labor and possibly inferior materials in a factory that is likely defying environmental and disposal controls in a country that is saturated with such copycats and as such will run out of clean water in 9 years and make us foot the bill because we owe them money. So, yeah, if you like that sort of thing, go for it.

"The chinese are very good at this sort of thing. I'm speaking to you know from behind a pair of fake ray-bans, wearing a fake Armani jacket, carrying a fake Louis Vitton bag, in which we find a fake iPad, and a fake iPhone. And if we consult my fake Omega, we can see that it's twenty-five to three... probably. Which means its time to pop into the fake Starbucks over there, for a cup, of fake coffee. It seems then that the term 'Copyright Infringement'; doesn't translate terribly well into Mandarin..." -Jeremy Clarkson

I personally would prefer to put low-brow money towards building new furniture and props for me and the girlfriend to "play" with and reserve the bikes to be one of those things that get real money, but that's just me.

For tomorrow's exciting lark: OP sets his timer for half an hour and orders a pizza from Domino's. (If he gets really adventurous, he'll invite a friend over, and try and convince him to actually eat the product which is delivered)

Keep living on the edge, dude!

Nice first post. How do we know that it's not counterfeit, though?
