Question for New Orleans riders

Where is the levee bike path? I'm on the westbank and have been enjoying the short one they have here, but I heard there is one along the river that goes all the way to Baton Rouge? I'd like to try that! Also, are there any maps of bike friendly streets on the eastbank or westbank? Where can I find them?

thanks pals.

Maybe that will help. Google is your friend. Good Luck

The above link is not so great.. the path starts on the levee near Audubon Zoo and is nicely paved all the way down past the 310 bridge. You can continue on the levee past that point, but its not paved. Its about 22 miles one way.

Another good place to start is Jefferson Playground. Just down River Rd. from the Huey P. Long Bridge.
