NFL Sunday ride
Just got back from a Sunday ride on the local MUP. Most Sundays the MUP is crowded with joggers, cyclists, walkers, dog walkers, etc. and with the weather today in the low 70's and sunny I expected a slow ride with lots of congestion. Wasn't I pleasantly surprised when I found the MUP traffic was light, no congestion, smooth sailing. I thought, "Wonder why?" Then I realized it's the NFL's opening Sunday and the Bears are playing the early game today....
I hope the Bears do well this year.

Very much in evidence here in HI. NFL football starts at 0700 and raps up around 1800 so those who can't miss it are all off the roads all day. The 49ers are the team of choice pretty much though the Titans also have a following due to local boy Mariota.
