Spacers

Hi Guys, i'am mostly a roadbiker and today i was thinking about spacers.

Is possible to adapt myself to the lowest steam position (removing all spacers).
The improvements will be: More cool bike appereance and more aero setup.

Or my body will suffers a lot?
i was thinking to find something to calculate my body's elasticity and then decide the maximun number of spacer to remove.

opinions?

ps. if can be usefull i can post a photo with my posture on bike.

Why not just try it and see how your body reacts to it?
I'm 61 and have always liked the look and feel of my road bikes with the stem lower than the seat by a couple of inches, not the most comfortable position but its my preference.

If your neck hurts now, lowering your stem is going to make it hurt worse.

You might be more aero and efficient but, if you can't ride your bike, what's the point?

Yea but my question is: can my body accustom the lower posture or the neck pain will be there everytime i ride?

Stem: The part of the bike that holds the handlebars (also called "hanger").

Steam: The gaseous phase of water. "Low steam" means a boiler that is being kept ready to quickly be used when needed. Locomotives on the ready line were often kept at "low steam", and I was trying to figure out just how you were using this term on reference to a road bike.

the scheme is take the spacers from under the stem and place them above the threadless stem .

combined height stem+ spacers has to be taller than the steerer tube ,

or the top cap bearing adjustment through loosened stem bolts around the fork, won't work.

avoid cutting down the fork , it wont grow back..

Just move one spacer at a time from below the stem to above.
