And ZIP, ZERO, ZILCH, NONE

It was a day for absolutely phenomenal live music - Seattle opera. The first in more than a year and a half.

Lived in Lake City for many years and was an avid member of Cascade - so was riding constantly in the greater and lessor Seattle area. Used to bike commute to downtown to the old WaMu tower. Used to dice it up with the traffic downtown - but those days are long over - thank dog.

40 miles with 4600 feet of climb in the Puente Hills of CA.
Popped a rear spoke around mile 30 but was able to take it easy another 10 miles until home.

I use to commute to/from Renton from Greenlake but not during Winter. You get spoiled by riding along Lake Washington but Montlake and the U-district would counter that!

I've occasionally gotten nuts but not much recently and would bike down to the Pike Place Market.

33-spot with a little rain early then some sun at the end.

I did the same 17 out and back yesterday on the MTB and today on the drop bar bike. It was beautiful both days, though today was windier.

Nothing special, trying to drop some weight doing hill repeats.
42 miles and 5200 feet of climb on a sunny day in the 70's with a lot of other local roadies out as well.

Bagged two fastest segments for my age group which is always a good thing. Am trying to achieve fastest on as many local segments as I can. Some are unobtainable but that’s OK. Hit max HR of 186 on one climb and got a warning from my Garmin Edge to back off. Who knew?

15.3 and about 650. It was ridiculously mild today and I left home at around 10am with 64 degrees when yesterday did not even reach 60F. Hit about 70 but we plunge back down. They are calling for a bomb cyclone - super low pressure off the coast!

Hmm. Maybe one should not LIKE biking in "wet and cold" as it encourages craziness!

Part of the problem is the difference in what's 'wet' and what's 'cold' in different parts of the country. It's WET and it's COLD here today....40F.....and raining hard enough that I don't even want to take the dogs out. I couldn't imagine riding today unless I was running away or towards something!

When I lived in S. Ontario I could easily have ridden in summer rain...geez, it's like a warm shower there....Out here in Alberta not so much.

Constant rain with light rain at times & temps from 34F to 39F. Not ideal, but meh, I like to ride.

Century starting & finishing in Hillsborough NC and looping up to the north. 4300 vertical ft, av. speed 20.1 mph. My fastest century by a wide margin - went with a fast group and held on by my fingernails 🥵

I’ll ride in the cold (as cold as it gets in NC) and I’ll ride in the rain, but cold and wet = sofa time. 👍
