45 miles, 2,600 ft of elevation. Nice cool weather which helped as I felt great today and went pretty hard. Really nice out there. I love this time of year in California.

30 with 600’ climb at 18 average speed. The threat of rain is a real motivator. Didn’t manage to outrun it and returned a muddy mess. Luckily packed a rain jacket and cap

Did a quick 12 mile ride and got back in time to prep dinner. About 50 F, sunny and strong winds.

15.3 and about 600 feet of gain on an almost Spring day. it is getting there temperature-wise. I could just use a few more degrees. My usual loop with variations.

The urban loop has most of what I like in this area - views of Puget Sound from above at Sunset Park and then down at the waterline at Golden Gardens Park. One variation I like is to pedal along the sidewalk or road in the Marina and gaze at what I would estimate are the billion dollars worth of boats both big and small and excessive perhaps.

I got out for 35.5 miles today. Started at Log Boom Park just north of Seattle. I rode along the Burke-Gilman MUP trail into Seattle and went to Ballard and then return. Did a side tour up Stoneway Rd to get some hills in as the ride is pretty flat otherwise.

Ah, my neck of the woods. I use Burke and generally avoid Stone Way but then I do have to contend with cross streets whereas Stone Way is an arterial. From my house to Marymoor (climbing rock) is an even 25 miles, so 50 round trip and it is one of the flattest rides imaginable. Well, flat if you ignore all the root heaved pavement along the BGT!!!

You could climb the switchbacks at Golden Gardens for hills and then head down 32nd to 77th west to Sunset Park, down 34th to 64th west down hill, stay right, through the tunnel under the railroad and back to the BGT. I don't like the switchbacks downhill since the pavement is not good and the lighting can be dappled making it hard to make out the pavement cracks and holes.
