Interesting wind sock???

30 miles with 25 MPH tail and then headwind. The 15 miles back was brutal - had me slowed to 12.5 MPH at one time - but 25 going out felt pretty good. Non-humble brag: the tail wind gave me a fastest over 6 miles for my age group 65-70😲 and 6th fastest for all men. I’ll take it anyway I can get it.

41 miles. 23įF Was a nice quiet ride & managed to avoid all slick spots that froze over from the plentiful rainfall that dropped yesterday.

So it was suppose to rain by 2 today and I needed to do yard work as it is suppose to be raining all week, so I did 4 hrs or yard work in upper 80's humid temps. Took a shower, got some food, started to watch the women's Paris-Roubaix, looked at the radar, noticed the rain was going to be a while. Got in 83 and made it home without getting rained on. Whoohoo. Oh and a cop was going to give me a ticket for doing 22 in a 15 mph zone. I asked if he was serious, told him I would challenge it, and while I might lose, he would look stupid in the eyes on the court. Told me to have a nice day.

wonder if that same cop would ticket someone riding without using both hands with a careless citation?

Probably. This little area I was riding has a few renta cops on power trips. This is the second time this has happened to me in that general area. Been a while since it happened the first time though.

Hopped on the bicycle for an Easter ride; 107 miles. Temps were slow to rise, but 39įF isn't technically "freezing" & there weren't any slick spots.

Light cold rain here, so 45 miles indoors while I have a 10 pound pork butt on the smoker.

Made 17 miles today. Longest ride since my broken femur last November. And I can still walk this evening. The goal is to get past 30. Maybe I will do it again tomorrow after work.

Rode as far west as the Bloor St bike lanes went, which was in block west of Runnymede.

According to my Garmin GPS, I went 43 km. But my Supercycle app on my phone says 50.4km.

Checked my route in Google Map. The Garmin was correct.

Twenty five miles today after not riding at all last week mostly due to weather.

An out and back.

Lots of snow in the mountains yet.

Glorious spring weather this week. Starting to build up miles. 43 miles on Sunday and 51 today (with temps in the mid-70s - perfect!).
