I rode from Enatai across 90 to Mountains to Sound, down Holbert to the waterfront (what a mistake) then a nice ride around Magnolia, over the locks, down the BG to 520 and across to Medina to my favorite market, the Medina Market, then through Bellevue by Meydenbauer Bay and up and over back to Enatai.

Won’t do that loop unless the waterfront is done of perhaps go up Western instead.
Yes, the Seattle downtown area and especially the waterfront is a construction zone mess. I avoid that area. The BG is OK except for some homeless camps set up right along the sides of the BG between Fremont and Ballard.

It will be nice when the weather will cooperate so I can ride outside on a Saturday. Coolish and rain is not my bag.

Everything indoors this week. 167 miles, of that, today I did 40 and 3k of climbing today. Maybe next Saturday, I will be able to get outside.

I couldn't imagine how I'd be if weather turned ugly now here. I'd have to go travel for a riding destination.

32 miles the day before yesterday with one 3rd overall segment and 4 fastest for my age group 65-70. Also a second place. My legs were completely shot after and took a recovery day. Zwifted 24 yesterday with 2 PRs and regretted it. Garmin said 56 hours rest time. It may actually know better.

Yea, I thought about it, but I have some work related items happening this weekend, and I have to be within 30 mins of my setup if they call and while I could probably take my laptop with me, the 34" monitor would make me so non-aero

I have been otherwise not posting for no particular reason. But since I did take a few shots last weekend. Edmonds up and back from Greenlake.

Mural across from the Walnut Cafe and then shots at the waterfront just north of the Edmonds Ferry Dock. That's Mt Baker up near the Canadian Border. Earlier in the week I did the Discovery Park loop (skipped the Locks that Rob showed). And a few weeks back we finally did Juanita Hill over to Kirkland after that road was a nightmare of construction for about a year. Then back via SR520

Only 16 miles but we followed after the rain and then beat it as it returned in late afternoon.

Really still that chilly back there? Oh, my.

Mid-60's - temps, not distance and this Panorama. Distance about 24 miles.

Had to pick up the car at the repair shop. Took the long way and climbed 2300’ in 30 miles. The gut buster was 1000’ in 3 miles. No pics today, too busy breathing.

58 miles w/ 6400' of elevation gain...I've done longer rides this season, but I'm stoked on how good I felt on this ride.

those are some of the best rides. 50% chance in those instances I'll make it a long haul.

disappointment today, missed 43mph.......If I would have thought I would have also added a little to the miles so my top speed and miles matched...

Most of the rides around here match that profile. I love the local terrain, but it can be painful at times. I'm coming back this year from a little break from cycling...there's been a bunch of times this year that I've been absolutely snapped and was just trying to survive to make it home. This ride was kind of a milestone ride for me, as I was able to match times, power numbers, etc from a couple years back...without feeling broken doing it.

Forty miles, which is not bad for an old man recovering from a femur fracture.
