I'll pass on the unseasonably warm Redmond weather.
Today I put in 31 miles in very chilly and windy weather. Was 67F when I left at 7:00am and was up to 74F when I got back. Only supposed to get up to 83F today. Tomorrow will be quite cold at 63F and yes, the government does issue alerts when the temperatures dip like this.

17 miles and the first ride in over five weeks. Overcast, misty, 50F. The trail was a slightly soggy mess. Just about perfect!

15 fakers. Walked the dog 2 miles in an absolute downpour and decided I had enough.

77 miles, most of it was dry (as it was predicted) .... but the few miles back it poured rain & started to sleet... so much for the predicted accuracy & staying dry in the 39*F~.

Beautiful! It was overcast and dreary here. If I had taken pictures today, I could have done black and white and you’d scarcely know the difference. Very thoughtful, introspective weather, I suppose.

A little longer than usual ride today as I did 44 miles but being a Saturday morning there was less traffic. Coldest start to the day at 63F since I have been here. It felt nice though. I also did a lap around the airport on the cycle track that is there. Very nice facility and the track is 23.5km around. Only bad thing was the strong headwinds when going either east or north.

Missouri. My most common ride is out the MKT spur to where it joins the Katy Trail (and back). I actually like the MKT better because it is not so straight and flat as the Katy.

32 and 1200’. Beautiful day and 42*. Almost hit 700 Watts on one climb. Thought I was only good for 650. Maybe improving?

Did 25 on the '84 Trek 770 I've been resurrecting. Downtube friction shifting wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. I think the modern ramped sprockets make it smoother - though harder to feel. The skinnier tires (700c x25) weren't horrible (I'm spoiled the ride of 26x1.5 slicks at 60-65 psi. on my usual ride.) I was really impressed with how fast the bike felt. Is it the bladed spokes in the radial laced wheels I wondered? Nope. It was the tailwind on the out section.

Anyway, nice to get outside, see some sunshine and maybe shake the last bit of the Covid out of me.

88 miles, temps were nearing mid 50s, but the fog wasn't blowing out.

Nice 22 mile ride through town to grab a picture of one of the metal horses with the Santa hat. Moved my seat forward so know my sit bones are supported better. I’ve been mostly riding the mountain bike. Get home and reach for a non existent dropper post button on the Domane.

Was such a good ride. Only one pickup truck passing with an oncoming SUV. Tires pressure was just right. Temperature 55 to 60 F. Long sleeve jersey, tights and toe covers just right. And not too windy.

20 miles 27.3 MPH for 2.3 miles -1.4% with a strong tailwind. I do love going fast - even with a push. HOWEVER: it was supposed to be a Z1 Z2 day, so average speed 16.4MPH

Quite the underachiever. You must be a monster climber. Well done

Did a 43 mile up and back from Fountain Hills to the top of "9 Mile Hill" in Scottsdale which is a pretty steady 2.3% grade for about 9 miles. It was a nice clear day and nearly perfect for a ride.

dropped the hammers on the pedals to slide in 24 miles right before the rain picked back up. 39F & rain isnt fun... 42F isnt much better.

I finally got in a very short ride today, I had to have a couple of stitches put back in my hand last week as the area in my palm tore a little, and would not stop leaking. Got them pulled yesterday and all seems much better. Holy crap, my legs were very heavy and stiff, could tell I was not spinning them for the last 3 weeks. The weather got cold over night and stupid windy, so I got in 6 miles 1100 feet of climbing to test how the hand felt on the bars. Not great, but doable for a longer ride tomorrow. If the winds are calmer, less than 10-15, I might give it a go outside although the temps will be mid to low 50's and not sure I want to deal with that just yet, so it might just be an open window and fans on low inside.
