Unique - Fake Cruiser
Here's a local guy who made up an e-bike except decorated with a faux 2-stroke. Oh he's tricky this guy... why I don't know. All I know is he's a shoe-in as a JJ Cale stand-in.
When the cops pull him over they won't be sure what to make of him and they'll probably issue some form of ticket (just to be on the safe side).

Well, the muffler probably keeps the engine quiet.

It takes about 0.000003 seconds to tell that it isn't a real engine, less if you know anything at all about engines.
A decent cook can tell that its aluminum foil.

Ticket??
Although it probably varies juristiction by juristiction, but (at least here in MA) under 50cc does NOT require a registration or permit. The rider must be wearing an approved Motorcycle helmet, though.......

You're probably right Tim, but it gives cops an excuse to pull someone over and shake them down. Happens several 100's of times daily across the country and probably more down south.

Back in the 70s when I was a kid, you could get a fake, plastic engine that had a speaker in it which made motorcycle noises. I think it was called the "Vroom 2" or something like that. I had one on my Stingray. The fact that it only simulated one constant rpm was unimportant to a 10 year old. I wonder if they still make something like that today? - but I'm too lazy to Google it.
Edit, ok I'm not too lazy afterall. Here is an early version form the 60's. I don't remember mine having the ability to change pitch like this one, but I was 10 at the time, so who knows.
