2009 Specialized Tarmac SL Pro

Upgraded today, to the bike mentioned In title. Even though it's a little old, from 2009 it has very low miles, under 1000. Flawless condition. I bought it for $1,000.

The stock wheelset that comes with it is under 1500 grams, very light for stock wheel set.

Anyways, total weight with pedals and saddles is 17.5 pounds, amazingly light bike.[IMG][/IMG]

I like it. Love the Tarmac geometry. Are you keeping the red bartape?

No I'm gonna put black on it. It's a more neutral color and I feel goes with it better.

Nice wheels, without a better picture I can't be sure but I doubt they are stock.

A better look shows Ksyrium SL's? (spelling) maybe 600-700 pair of wheels?

Is that SRAM red 10 I am seeing?

You did good with this deal no doubt, enjoy

I also own a 2009 Tarmac SL. The shifters aren't as nice as the newer stuff, but for $1,000 for the whole bike who cares. :-) My one complaint is that something in the bike is overly stiff. I read people say it's the wheels. My hands and wrists love the ride, but the lower half of my body feels a bit beat up after a ride. If I used it more I'd probably replace the wheels with something slightly less stiff - personal preference of course.

Yes, those are ksyrium SL's, and sram red 10 as well. Love the bike. when I looked up this bike on bicycle blue book, it showed those wheels in the stock photos, and the person I bought it from (original owner) stated that they came with the bike as well. So now I pretty much don't ever have to upgrade my wheelset

I see, I prefer a somewhat stiff ride but thats just me. I haven't gotten the chance to take it on a long ride, but I shall see how i feel after today
