That poor guy got the string of lights all tangled up in his wheels. I wonder of he crashed because of it.

Yes and a wireless push button doo-hickey that mounts on the handlebars. Now I have four devices to worry about recharging. A headlight and tail light. The helmet and the push button doo-hickey. The helmet acts like a brake light too. It senses a slow down and the back light gets brighter, I think. I still haven't had a chance to test it.

Thanks to you, I will keep this possibility in mind. Hacking a bicycle helmet? Thinking about it, all someone would have to do is using the same app, pair the phone and the helmet, and changing the configuration is easy. Now I have a lot to think about.

So, they first would have to want to hack for some reason. Then they'd have to own one, or spend the time and effort to clone the controller circuitry and logic. Then, they'd have to match your helmet's codes (out of how many?), and lastly have to be close enough to put their devious plan into effect.
I can't see this as a serious probability except as part of a carefully thought out plan by your wife to gaslight you, get you committed, then take your money and run off with her boyfriend.

Got me a BassPro gift card from my son and his wife. Used it to upgrade to a new Black Diamond headlamp. It replaces the 20 year old Petzl I've been using at camp all these years!

If you're down to where this is a serious worry, you're enjoying a very nice life.

Sure, but hacking your Garmin doesn't take much more, and its rather a non issue. Consumer hacking is almost always economic based, simply no money there.

On the bright side it's via Bluetooth, who's limited range requires that hackers are pretty close to you.
So, factoring proximity and possible motives, we're pretty much down to your wife who, after all, gave it to you.
Sleep well tonight!

I got a Martin D28 guitar from my wife. On our vacation last fall, I told my wife I wanted a new guitar, though I didn't think she would get me one. I ordered a Gibson ES-175 without her knowing about it, so she ordered the Martin. Now I am playing both, and enjoying them very much.

I was a big fan of Yes, and of Steve Howe, and I loved what he could do with an ES-175, so I finally got one of my own. It really is a beautiful guitar. I have a few Gibsons, Les Pauls and SG's, but the ES-175 is on a different level. I now have my eyes on a 1992 Gibson Starburst, I don't really need another guitar, but the price is too good to resist...
