I'm doing this a bit ahead of schedule, i started cycling in at the end of May and said i wanted to complete my first century within a year. One came up and i had 4 weeks to "train" so i said screw it and signed up. I'll make it to the finish line come hell or high water.

Aim for an early start. That way no worries about missing aid station cut-off time or lack of "good stuff" at the station.
A problem I've had is aid stations used some sort of in-line chlorinator from the water bib to what they provided for filling bottles and it tasted like pool water to me.

I am doing my first full century this weekend and want to make sure i have done everything i need to and would love any extra tips. I have ridden a 70 mile solo run with a crap load of elevation changes (2700 Ft worth of climbing), while my century only has 980FT. I will be eating more carbs and fish starting Wednesday, i will also increase my water intake and on Saturday start drinking my hydration drink instead of normal water. I also have energy gels/blocks that i have used on normal rides and know they won't upset my stomach. I just put on a new set of 28mm tires to soften the ride over the long miles.
Is there anything else that i need to do or think about for my first 100 mile ride?
Thanks...

Long rides are about calories. Eat well the day before and keep eating and drinking on the ride and you should be good.

You should be fine. I did my first 100 miles on a whim about six months after starting riding. Met up with a guy and we started heading out down one road, then after an hour or so decided to just keep riding down this road until we hit 50. Once we did that we stopped at a gas station for food and water and started back for our 100.
No plan, no problem. We just kept eating and drinking and enjoyed the ride.

If you can ride with an average speed faster than 10 MPH, it will take you less than 10 hours. I'm planning on doing it in about 8 hours or so including rest stops.

Have fun! And come on over the the long distance forum (like Machka mentioned). They have century tips.
But.... just have fun. It'll be great! (And it sounds like you'll do fine.)

I have done maybe 5 centuries, and have found that a stop at Waffle House is key. Seriously, double hashbrowns with onions and jalapenos with a Coke at or around mile 70, and you're good to go! It sounds like a joke, but Waffle House has been a part of all my epic rides.

Have fun and enjoy the ride! Sounds like you are trained and ready. I would prep for the century about the same way as you did for the 70. Radical diet changes could result in, er, digestive surprises.
The sense of accomplishment with completing your first century is huge. Stay with cycling and it will become a long training ride.

Don't get too excited worrying about nutrition and over eat during the ride which can upset the tummy. Ride daily. Keep the legs loose.
