Help figuring out make and model
I was just given an old bike, but it has been spray-painted black and covered in stickers so I can't figure out the make or model. Any help is appreciated.

Being fully suspended (shocks front and rear), it's probably not that old. Given the crankset and quill stem, my hunch is a department store bike, e.g. Next, Magna, etc.
Can you make out any brand or model names on components like the fork, shifters, or derailleurs? |
A bike that heavily disguised might have been stolen and painted. You might want to find the serial number and check with the local police to verify. You do not want to be apprehended in possession of stolen goods, no matter how you got it.
Meanwhile, more photos from various angles taken in better light will help us help you. That seat tube treatment is pretty distinctive. |

Hyper Havoc, whatever the hell that is? Hard to tell from his photo if it matches precisely.
http://bestnewmountainbikes.com/wp-c...Suspension.jpg These are sold at Wal-mart, so not very high quality. Worth riding if it is tuned/adjusted properly and you have no other bike, but you will probably want something better at some point. Good luck! http://static.auctionservices.com/im...3940_large.JPG |
