The greatest thing...
 

about riding with minimalist equipment:

passing road bikers who probably spent hundreds of more dollars on their road bikes and shoes and jerseys and bike shorts, while wearing just a fitted T-shirt, mesh shorts, running shoes, on a mountain bike with slicks.

Yeah, ain't life grand. :beer:

What is even cooler is riding to the single track paths, passing the dudes in the lycra/team jerseys, on a MTB with knobbies, do the circut, dusting the dudes on the full suspension, lycra/team jerseys, who drove to the circut in an SUV. Then on the ride home pass the roadies again.

for me the greatest thing in riding my bike is just filing up the miles and not getting tired of doing it
