Cannondale CX9 - Opinions wanted

Hi,

Been lurking and studying as I want to work cycling into my fitness regime as well as for relaxation and commuting.

I currently have a Diamondback mountain bike that I purchased at Dick's about 4 years ago. I had it out last weekend and it was enjoyable but pushing around that huge tire was taking some of the enjoyment out of it for me.

On the advice of what I have read here so far, I have been watching Craigslist for a used bike and found what I might be interested in. I was hoping to get the opinion of members here if it is a good bike and at the aksing price, if it is a decent deal.

The AD:

Cannondale CX9 Gravel or race ready Cyclocross bike.

Size 52 or a medium.

Rides nice and all tuned up, shifts butter smooth.

Maxxis Locust Folding 35c tires.

New Shimano chain.

9 speed Sora shifters and derailleurs.

FSA cranks with very good rings up front.

Cannondale stem and Carbon seatpost post.

Control Tech handlebar.

Selle Italia Flite saddle. Made in Italy.

FSA headset with integrated hanger.

Mavic CXP21 rims, black spokes on Cannondale branded cup and cone hubs. Flat brake tracks.
Wheels very true with no hops, dings or wobbles. Wheel bearings freshly greased and spin smooth.

Outboard threaded bottom bracket.

Anodized blue wheel skewers.

Brakes are old school canti's. Empella Frogleggs. Very cool.

Vintage Ringle water bottle cage.

Choice of Flat or Shimano SPD pedals.

Carbon fork with lots of steer tube. Eyelets for fenders.

No dents. Some deep scratches in the paint from storage, bike racks.

Brakes are set up cross style, with the left hand controlling the rear brake.

Made in America, gravel, city commute or cross bike. How can you beat that for the money?

The owner is asking $505. Not sure how arrived at that specific of a number but hey...
