Yes, white flakes are falling on the Mile High City again

Winter has decided to pass thru Denver again. In as much as I liked to go out to start the cycling season, I started to miss snow. Not a big storm nor it is very cold, but very pretty outside. Time to hook up the bike back to the trainer.....

Just 70 miles south here in Colorado Springs, even though we're 1300-1500 feet higher, we get half the moisture of Denver; although the very north reaches of the Springs get more than the south end. And 45 miles further south in Pueblo, at about 1000 feet lower than Denver, it is very dry, and considerably warmer. If you explore the winter forum you may find ways to extend your outdoor riding season if you want.

Get yourself a fatbike and some studded tires.
