Enclosed trailer to haul my fiancé and my own bikes

Anyone have advice on an enclosed hauling trailer to haul possibly 4 bikes in. I can fit my own stuff inside so they will stay put. Anyone know any enclosed trailer brands that are better than others or possibly trailers specifically for bike hauling. I would like to have room to carry a few other things around as well.

Well that title made me laugh. Is your fiance one of the "few other things"?

Yeah, I'd guess you could coax your fiancée into the trailer one time ... but she'd be on to the trick then. Never get her in a second time without a fight.

i used to race sports cars and Pace trailers were top rated. take into consideration what vehicle your going use to pull the trailer. lighter is better with trailers. if this is for bicycles only you won't need a tall or wide one. which does bring the question what vehicle are you going tow with? if you have a pickup truck why not just get a top for the bed? cheaper and easier to deal with. a van is best as everything is in the back with plenty of storage space since it's just the two of you right now and one day possibly kids? i always hated having the trailer take up so much space and the extra cost of keeping it.

I'm considering a SouthGeorgiaCargo 5X8 V-nose with side door and ramp rear. Around $2,000

That's why dogs are man's best friend. Throw a dog and a woman in your car trunk for an hour, then let them out and see which one is happy to see you.

OP said fiancé, so I think we are talking about future husband, not future wife.

Since I'm a guy let's go with wife haha. I believe my car has a tow capacity of 3000 pounds as it's just a new Hyundai Tucson. And I have never fixed lighter is better due to it usually being if better quality

In one of my other hobbies - competitive racing radio controlled gas-engine-powered boats - a lot of guys use box-type trailers (they call them toy boxes) to haul their fleets of boats and tools to the races. At the races they work out of the back of the trailer and use the trailer as a mobile workshop. So some of them use some pretty big trailers. Some use small ones. Some work out of the tailgate of an SUV or minivan. What I've learned is that it's best to talk to the trailer shop that deals in the brand you favor and ask them which options they offer, like drop-down door (ramp), side door, stand-up interior height, gravel shield, finished interior, heavy duty floor, torsion suspension (good to keep your stuff from getting bounced around on the road), LED lights, roof vent, prewired and reinforced for air conditioner, upgraded wheels and tires. Or none of the above. One thing several guys have found out is that these trailers are theft bait and can take a walk in the middle of the night. The thieves apparently want the trailer itself, but if it's loaded with toys, all the better. Since you intend to pull it with a Hyundai, I'd think you would want to go with a smaller size and lighter trailer. Some of the larger ones are rather wide overall and can be a handful in traffic.

Yea I was already planning on the lighter trailers anyway. I will probably be putting a locking system on the floor myself.

Seriously, if you are putting your fiance into a trailer, you need to go to couples counseling.....

I presume after the marriage the fiance will be allowed to ride in the car.
