Newbs aren't allowed to post pics or links until they've posted 10 times (I think).

You can confirm by reading the rules, or posting in the user suggestions and help sub forum (scroll down to the end of the list).

Happens to me sometimes. Random.

Like sometimes it will say "file upload failed" and then work fine at a later date.

This website has some resident problems under the hood.

Post a link to the pic and someone can post it for you ... Or simply find enough stuff to say to fill six more posts and there you go.

Lightshot is a good place to upload if you don't want to setup an account

When it asks for a link its putting [ img ] [/ img ] on either side of the link alowing for posting. Just assure the link ends in .jpg

What he said /\

kudos for asking the question. Myself being a gorilla I fought with this for a while too stubborn to ask. Eventually I noticed many using photobucket. voila! and +10 post count

If you don't see the Attach Files option below where you are posting click go advanced and you will see it. Note that jpegs are limited to 1.9 MB.
Click Manage Attachments, chose a file from your computer and click upload.

I use Postimg.org as a free hoster, I tried some of the others and didn't like them as much. Create a free account and organize your stuff into folders, you will thank me for this advice in the long run because at first you think you just want to post 1 image, but after years of belonging to many forums, you will find this to be a great resource.

Once you post your image there, copy the "share" link for the full-sized image.

When you post a message here, in the edit window, 2nd from the end of icons at the top is one for images (looks like a yellow box with mountains and the sun). Hit that and paste your image link in there.

When the message gets posted, the image will appear as a full-sized in-line image.

Cheers
TRJB
