I saw and used one of those a few weeks ago in a VW factory in Dresden. the problem was the gear ratio from crank to generator must have been bad since i had to spin at a very high cadence with almost no resistance to get them fast. Other than that nice way to race safely.

for 1 stage they have to also float across the bay. *It happens annually over Memorial day weekend..
