mgi westkapelle

I recently saw an add for a bycle "mgi westkapelle". It looks like a Dutch commuter bike, but I can't find any information on the brand or model. Does anyone know anything about this bicycle?

MGI used to be a Dutch company that was bought by Belgians and they now produce in Belgium. At the bottom is a link to all the current models they offer. Goedkope fietsen: MGI fietsen | FIETSEN 2017

So would $50 be a reasonable price for the bike if it's in decent shape? It seems like it would be for a European made bike.

I do not know the bikes. They seem to be relatively cheap but I think you cannot go wrong wit 50 bucks if it is good shape.

In this case I wouldn't expect too much from 'European made', especially because it's probably not made in Europe at all. Belgium's cycling culture is great when it comes to road cycling and cycle cross, but their commuters lack the simplicity of Dutch bikes. They like rim brakes, derailleurs and other flimsy parts, especially on a cheap bike that won't help durability. But for 50 bucks and a bit of care, what can go wrong?
