Free Bike-In Movie!

So this is happening tonight in my town of Colorado Springs. It's along my bike commute route and across the street from where my wife and I used to live.

That looks like a pretty cool event! Good to see them promoting cycling in the local community.

It sounds like fun.

There are a few local bike events. PedalPalooza is a big week long event up in Portland.

Here in Eugene, we have an event called "Sunday Streets" where a few streets are shut down for bicycles, skateboards, and etc. A big long street fair.

By the way, Allen Beauchamp, "education and encouragement chairman for the nonprofit Bike Colorado Springs," is one of the most productive cycling advocates Colorado Springs has had, and deserves much praise for helping "drive" the cycling infrastructure renaissance here in town along with those in the city, county and state agencies who have also done their parts.
