Trek 7.3FX hybrid or Kona Dew hybrid

I am buying a used bike, leaning towards the Trek, but what is everyone's opinion? I want a light frame, most riding will be street but I want to be able to go off curbs and on grass or other non-road surfaces. Hoping to upgrade from a DB Sorrento, which is very, very heavy. Thanks for any input or opinions offered!

They are both my size - they are the only two on craigslist today that are my size and aluminum-framed, which is what I am looking for. Like the lower top tube of the Trek, and I am waiting for a text back to see if I can test-ride.

I have been riding a too-big bike for awhile, so I won't buy one that doesn't fit properly.

I'd take a look at both before making any decisions. There's bound to be some minor differences that lead to one being more comfortable than the other right off the bat.

Try them both. Depending on the year they will fit very differently. I have a kona dew and tried many bikes before getting it. The trek had a more aggressive position and the dew was more upright for me. They are both nice bikes.
