Clip Pedals - What Do I Have?
I just got a new-to-me but used 2011 Fuji Absolute 3.0. It had clip-in pedals on it. Not having any clip-in shoes, I replaced the pedals with standard ones.
What do I have here? What shoes would I have to get in order to use them? They don't have any brand or marking on them except L5 and R6 (left and right?), and small marks on each that look like 'J7'.
Thanks in advance for your input.

These look like Wellgo 919 SPD style pedals.
WAM-M919 - Wellgo
Pretty much anybody's SPD mt. style shoe with Shimano cleats will work. Do some research on either the Shimano SH-51 or SH-56 cleats and choose which model you desire. I like the 51's and have used them for years.

You use cleats on your shoes with those pedals and you clip in to them but they are traditionally - and confusingly if you aren't familiar with the history of pedal foot retention devices - called clipless pedals.

Non omnino gravis
Depending on the age of the pedal, using Shimano 51/56 cleats will result in a noisy pedal. Older Wellgo pedals were designed for the Wellgo 98A cleat, which is thicker than the Shimano cleat. I never thought I would see a cheaper 2-bolt pedal than the Shimano 520, but Wellgo just proved me wrong.

Thanks everybody for the great info! It looks like they are somewhat cheaply made and probably not worth buying shoes for.
I really appreciate the help!

By all means, get shoes that take the standard 2-bolt cleat mounting pattern, and then some 2-sided mountain pedals. I have been recently experimenting with some inexpensive Shimano M520 pedals and matching (genuine Shimano) cleats. They are brilliant.
