Ciclovia Winnipeg 2017
For any local riders (who weren't already aware), tomorrow is Ciclovia which takes place on Memorial Boulevard and beginning at 11am. I attended last year and will tomorrow too.

Hi Wild, don't get the Taco Bell reference but I'm sure it's tasty. I ended up attending Winnipeg ManyFest 17 / Ciclovia. Ran into some people that I knew too on what was a weather-wise perfect day. Photos that were taken to be uploaded soon. A woman working a booth looked very much like she could've been Sandra Bullocks' kid sister. Enticing aromas filled the air courtesy of a bevy of mobile kitchens going "head-to-head" in Food Truck Wars.

Hope you had a good time....I rode in Cyclovia here in Tucson a couple of years ago, and between the huge numbers of riders and total lack of bike skills exhibited, I swore never to do it again.

Ciclovia at Night
Here we go. A few random pictures of the goings on at Manyfest here in town. Ciclovia didn't take place until Sunday and what you see are Friday evenings' pictures of the same venue. You can see the packmule tied up to a lampost (without so much as a bowl of water) outside the free bike valet. There were many different Food Trucks vying for your palate's vote (and your wallet) all the while. There was a beer garden too with some local brewers featured. Believe it or not but I resisted the allure of the Trucks and the Garden this time round. I don't know who the band (pictured) was but they were fairly tight and not too bad sounding.
