They don't work well for me as the two I have don't allow for enough setback on the rails. I have two that I will be selling.

Quality? If so, why are they better? Workmanship? Materials?
Leather? Why don't all the major bike companies make leather saddles then?

Seems to me the rivets would be uncomfortable, but I don't know.

Whenever I go to their site to check them out, seems like I'm in an equestrian site. LOL
First off: I don't got none.
But anyway.....

Brooks do seem to be made better than other cheaper brands. A lot of the problems with the cheaper ones seems to be the leather stretching too much. Either the rivets pulling out, or the center of the saddle just stretching and hanging too low.

That said--leather saddles for bicycles have been around for nearly 150 years now, and people have complained about them being uncomfortable the entire time. You might like one, but they aren't a miracle cure for anything.

If you wanna be full-retro, get a hairpin saddle (one with big rear loops).

And then get a TOOL ROLL, and tie it inside the hairpin spring loops.
Because that is how bicycle saddle packs originated.

I think they're all that great. I have eight of them. Try one and decide for yourself.

Do yourself a favor and look up the meaning of "status quo" before you ise it again.

One of my B17s is old and cracking. I took a 46 mile ride in the rain on Saturday, and it's looking like it's not long for this world. I don't know how old it is, as it was old when I bought it, but it's probably pretty old, so I won't complain. When it does fail, I might turn it into @rhm and buy one of his spiffy remakes.
