Why does no one want there stuff????
taking a brief stroll thru ebay the other day I spied a whole load of stuff from Fetsh Cycles for sale by user bikekingusa. I find it weird that there is not ONE bid for any of the auctions. I watched a couple of items and they ended with no bids and they were relisted a day later. Carbon tubular wheels for $500 and not a nibble?!?!?
Why does no one want there stuff????

I believe they are a smaller company, they don't do alot of advertising(atleast none that I have seen) and not many shops carry their products.
So I think it's just because people don't know about their stuff.
I have e-mailed the owners a couple of times and they seem like great people. The replies were prompt, polite and answered my questions. Seems like a good company.

I think those are deeper than 38mm.
And they are zipp brand. People covet the brand name stuff, and they are proven road worthy.

I think part is they are tubulars....clinchers sell better (although I did see some clinchers as well).
The other side of the coin is the high starting price...I bet if they started at $100, he would be up to 600+ right now....that's how ebay tends to go....priced too low or too high initially, and you get little if any bids.
Plus I'm not sure how many people know who fetish cycles is, and go for the common name stuff like easton or reynolds.

Most of the stuff on Ebay is there because it does not sell well somewhere else. Most of the people going on Ebay are looking for something that is way below it's real value.
Therefore, lots of stuff with no bids.
