Ribble Cycles England
Hello, I searched past post about Ribble and they are dated.
Is it safe to order from Ribble and get a decent delivery time here in the states for components?

I've ordered a few things from them -- handlebars and such -- and don't recall the delivery time being terribly long. Maybe a week or so.
...but if you absolutely need something in a few days and can't risk the possibility of something getting hung up in the international shipping/customs process, I'd suggest ordering domestically and using a carrier with published delivery timelines like FedEx or UPS.

Google searches have almost always found me prices in the USA as good as Ribble or other UK sites. Or at least close enough.
JensonUSA.com, Nashbar.com, Treefortbikes.com, Universalcycle.com and others have over this last year had some pretty good deals. There are others I've used to over the course of many years. You have to check everybody though for each particular item.
Sometimes the UK sites do win out. But I have not had to use them yet.

I have ordered from Ribble, Wiggle, and SJS a number of times and have always been pleased. Orders are shipped quickly but you may have to wait a week for arrival, but not much more. Part of the holdup is customs. Some of the items (like Shimano components) from the UK sites are great bargains, some are not.
The do require signature on delivery so you will have to deal with that.

Waiting is not an issue. I have ordered from Wiggle, Merlin, PBK, Chain Reaction and have no problems. I have never ordered from Ribble.
What I intend to purchase price wise can not be beat by anyone in the states, and I have searched. I am building another bike so like I said waiting is no big deal nor is signing for the package.
Thanks to you all for your comments. I think I will order the part right now.
Order is placed, drivetrain is taken care of. Just need a frame, bars, tape, pedals, wheels, tires and tubes. LOL
Frame is going to be a Velo, bars- 3T Aeronova, tape-red, pedals-speedplay, wheels-50-70mm carbon, tires-Conti 4000s2, tubes-Nashbar, Oh I'm using the 5800 groupset- it's what's on my other bikes. I like it and I'm not a weight weenie with components. The weight I can save with components can be more than lost in a visit to the throne room, sometimes the weight of the bike is lost on a single visit. Y'all did want to know that didn't you? If not it's too late. The image will forever be burned to memory.

I ordered twice in October, and each time it took about 10 days to delivered to California.
Good luck

I ride to clear my mind
I order from Ribble all the time. Untracked to NYC is about 7-10 days. I bought a bike from them too. It is INCREDIBLE.
