Thanksgiving Friday day off, where are you riding today?

Have black friday off? Where/how far are you riding to burn off some of those pie calories?

Happy holiday,

Brian

Thanksgiving Day ride was so brutal, I'm taking today off. Granted it's most likely dehydration, who do you know who has lost 6 lbs. even after Thanksgiving Dinner?!

Just did a post office run, then added a few miles, about 15 total. Nice day in LA, almost 90. Happy day after!

Work has been brutal and I've been so exhausted that I slept...until 2PM. Seriously.

Once I had coffee, this left an hour and a half of daylight, and I managed to get in almost 19 miles with a couple of nice climbs

I was too lazy and depressed today. I turn 50 at midnight and I'm riding 50 miles in the morning.

Rode with about 10 other club members from southest Indy to Franklin and back midday today. 36 miles, with about the first half headwind and the second half tailwind. Warmed up to about 50 but windy, as noted.

I'll trade your 50 for my 68 any day. Happy birthday, kid.

I did 50 miles on Thanksgiving morning, then obliterated whatever calorie burn I'd accomplished a couple of hours later. Hey, on the bright side, I not only got enough protein to assist in recovery, I also topped my glycogen stores back up!

I got out today and rode my 32.5-mile route. I thought I'd be too fatigued after riding every day this week and then 50 yesterday, but I actually felt quite good and rode this route faster than I've yet done it since starting cycling again. It was 75 F out when I started, and into the low 80s by the time I finished. Perfect Arizona cycling weather.

50s and windy here too. Only did 26 mi because I ran out of time. Planned on getting on the trails by my house with my Roubaix but they were just mud, so drove a ways to a river and rode the paved path along it. Felt good until the sun set, then the temperature abruptly plummeted.

Mid 70s here today, lots of wind.
I rode one of my normal 40-mile routes past the New Sweden Church. Love it out there.

The Most Photographed Church in Texas.

Ironically - I have ridden past this church hundreds of times in the last 20 years and I don't believe I have ever taken a pic.

Rode 60 miles today on the local mups. A bit breezy on parts, but not too bad.

Visiting inlaws in the Chicago burbs, so i brought my MTB and rode some miles on local singletrack. Fun ride- its a ton of trails in basically the only area within 20mi with any sort of elevation.

I vowed 27 years ago after spending 10 years in retail. That if I ever got out, I would NEVER be in any store the day after Thanksgiving. I have kept that promise to myself to this day. My Wife and Daughter go slug it out shopping and enjoy it, me, I go ride. I work nights so did not get up til noon. Then after tending to my Daughters Dogs and dressing, I was ready to role at 1:30. I wanted to get in 40 today as it was the first nice day that I have been off. Got in 32 before it got dark.... Hopefully I can get in 40 tomorrow morning before I am given my Saturday 'assignments'..... :-)
