Kafitt, Anyone?

So my wife has discovered this new (to us) purveyor of cycling clothes. I must say that I'm quite taken with their whole line of merchandise and thought I'd spread the word.

Wow, the model doesn't hurt the presentation at all.

And the Miss America pageant is just about scholarships. Errr. Sorry. You're right. But if the draw of this thread is just the comfort of the clothing, the OP could have used a picture like this:

My wife does not like the all-in-one design for the same reasons so many guys don't like bibs; restroom breaks become an entire strip down affair. She prefers (as do I) two piece top/bottom gear for convenience and versatility. I'll reserve comment on the model.

Kafitt are not at all tech oriented, are they? They have virtually no presentation on materials or construction, nothing about durability or warranty. They’re only about style, no substance. #notimpressed

It would be nice to know something about the actual product. Aside from being in a different language, the website tells us nothing about the garments.

Chamois make/model? Fabric weight and elastane content? Etc.

Not having anything else to go by my guess would be that it is another overpriced boutique brand lacking budget for actual research and development. Almost invariably their garments are made from inexpensive off-the-shelf patterns where poor fit on the bike is made up for by using highly stretchy, hydrophilic high-elastane content fabrics.

Seems to be only for women anyway.

Well, the companies specializes in skinsuits for women-- so I think that rules out about 95% of the people who might read this thread. Without regard to that, what I enjoy most is how people are so quick to judge-- for or against-- based simply on the OP's choice of photograph. Try a simple Google search, people. Pedal North visits Kafitt. Started in Colombia by women and from the look of it, run by Colombian women. Would people have been more accepting of a photo like this?

And as my wife commented upon seeing the top pic, she remarked, "I'd like any pair of cycling shorts, that when I'm standing straight up, don't make me look like I'm wearing a diaper." Not badly priced, either-- 250k Colombian pesos is about $85USD. One of my wife's coworkers is at home on vacation with family, in Colombia. The wife wishes she could get ahold of her and have her bring back a suit.

Oh, and those Kafitt employees I mentioned?

I formed my opinion based in large part on the OP's history. Check the last three pages of the Banned Users thread.

Who is judging?

Speculating is not judging. Several of us stated that we want to know more about the a actual products.

Hey--watch it, buddy. I'll have you know that I've worked damned hard on honing my reputation.

Besides, it's harder to get banned around here than you might imagine (especially, permanently!). Takes talent.

Of course there were!

What was wrong with it? Was it pornographic? Did it display anything that we would not normally see on a typical ride in which pretty young women engage?

No doubt these burblings of dissatisfaction emanated from some jealous crone. Personally, I think that discussing saddle sores in detail is much more distasteful. Perhaps I should file a complaint of the adjacent thread (but I won't because I know how much we all just love discussing our undercarriages in this forum!)? lol
