Touche. I'll try to find a photo of the bike. It really is a decent bike to "ordinary people" I'm sure, but when I bring it to rides... eh....

Funnily enough, I've been ready to go with a detached garage for the last couple years, but foundation people around here apparently all lost their jobs in the downturn, because there's not a single one I've been able to find who can do it for a reasonable (not clearly "we don't want the business") price.

It's probably a motown anti-bike conspiracy.

What does my bike say about me?

I'm not sure yet. Any guesses from the audience?

It says I have my priorities in order. (when I bought it I drove 16 year old Civic with 240,000 miles)

Three are chained outside and the rest are still in pieces.

You are confident that your wood flooring is durable

It looks that heavy to you, too?

But yes, the floor holds it up, and I've actually been riding it the length of the living room ... I walk it backwards each time. Very short rides, but I can do a lot of them. By the time the weather lets me take it outside, I'll actually have some familiarity with it. Standing starts are getting easier, and soon I'll be practicing close maneuvering. I haven't fallen yet and I've only run into the wall once--very lightly.

Uh oh.... How do I answer this one?

Like quality steel, like bright colors, like variety, impractical, obsessive, too much time on my hands, reliving youth, bargain shopper, wasteful with money, custodian of the past, dreamer, etc, etc....

Thinking about this just makes me want to curl up into the fetal position and suck my thumb....not really!

If I really cared what my bikes said about me I'd want them to say, "joy for life"!

My bikes would say that:

Io amo le belle biciclette Italiane.

Or words to that effect, my Italian is a bit rusty.
I am a beautiful Italian bicycle?

No.

It means I love beautiful Italian bikes. My bikes understand my passion, or addiction.
