What does your bike say about you?

Watch the video and then post pics of your bike and describe what it says about you.

That I'm a fastidious person. All parts must be meticulously matched, fitted and finished. That my bikes are kept spotless goes without saying. Have you ever cleaned your tires?

Many people think my bikes are new, even though they have thousands of miles on 'em, and some are even ridden in poor weather. Yes, it's an obsession. Even my 13 year old car looks near new.

Nice video!

You sound a lot like me. And yes, I do clean my tires.

Had my hydraulics serviced a couple of weeks ago. Guy said the bike was like brand new. It's a 2005.

What does it say behind my back? Bad things. Very bad things.

What does your bike(s) say about you?

They don't tell me so I'm not sure I want to know. (Suspiciously, they always go to total silence when I show up.)

Comfortably worn. Used hard, but not abused. Shows the scars we get with age.

Those descriptions fit both the bike and the owner!

Or I could also say that we are lovingly maintained with old parts. Some used more than others...

I clean the tires after almost every ride. I thought I was the only one. I clean under the
fork crown just above the tire, and, under the rear brake bridge. And that underneath part of the brakes. And the braking surface on the wheels and the surface of the pads. Uh ....I guess I just should say that I clean the bikes after almost every ride.

I have 14 bikes I guess what that says about me is---- I'm Sybil.

Well, I was hoping to see pictures of bikes...

Fine, I'll go first, I guess.

I don't really know what mine would say about me...maybe, that I'm ever searching for comfort. That I like pretty, bright, shiny, matching, and clean (to a point, I've been dragging out the frames deep cleaning since I got it lol). Modern & vintage. I really like simple, too - not a lot of accessories. And of course, I like pink & almost always wear pink while riding.
Maybe it says something completely different though...

No updated, nice clear photos. Too cold out to take any now lol.
How she was when I got her, through changes, to how she was last I took a pic (June).

My old road bike
How I rode it, It had the Mavics that are on my hybrid for ever then it had the RS81 C35's. then How I sold it. Stock wheels stock chain rings.

Probably what it says about me is how I keep my stuff clean. This synapse has 10,000 plus something miles on it.

They probably say I'm a cheap-ass who enjoys getting the maximum value out of minimalist expenditure. They definitely don't say I'm fast or enjoy high tech.

Sexy bike. I regret not buying one of those when I had the chance a few months back, always loved that color

I'd argue they also say you are quite evangelical and judgmental of others, even with nothing else offered up as proof than that statement.
