Specialized Power vs Romin Evo/Oura
Hello-- I know everyone is built different, but curious if anyone has used either of these saddles and which eliminates saddle numbness more so over the other.
I ride on the hoods mostly, but sometimes in the drops if I am racing (duathlons).
I also do a fair amount of hill climbing as I live in PA.
I have tried the Specialized Ruby, which has been the worst for soft tissue pressure/ numbness so I switched to my SS saddle -- a Selle Italia XO Tans Am and that, albeit better, is still causing me issues. I have also tried a Terry which I was not a fan of.

I am a huge fan of the Romin Evo. I had always been a loyal Selle Italia Flite Ti rider, but the classic version was getting harder to find. Went to the local Specialized shop and asked what they had that was most like the Flite and they recommended the Romin. Make sure you get the proper width. They should have you sit on an "Assometer" to measure your sit bones.
And it's a bit finicky to get the tilt right. But once I got it dialed in, it practically disappeared under me.
I have no experience with the Power but I know some folks who love it.

I think lots of 'my saddle hurts my soft boy parts', don't hold their hips upright enough and bend over with a stiff back..
