how do we explain the corrosion seen in bicycles used in indoor training where the sweat had bore holes into handlebars - and spectacle frams are immune to this kind of damage?. And you're recommended to have a towel or something protective over the bike.

from The Bespoke Cycles Blog: Don't let this happen to you! B) I don't drip sweat on my glasses. They're on my face! C) I've never bored holes in my handlebars in all the riding I've done on indoor trainers. |

I wear my glasses in the shower and wash/clean them frequently. I imagine a lot of people who have had corrosion issues on their bicycles don't really wipe them down or clean things as thoroughly or frequently.

I have worn regular metal framed glasses for 30 years. No problems. Somehow they never even came off in high speed race crashes.
