Does anyone else ride so fast and with such fury that they need to carry a fire extinguisher?

Only in caged vehicles which I know have a reasonable possibility of catching fire....
I ride with such fury that if I crash, there ain't nothing saving me. Or, I'll wind up with a scraped knee and a bruised ego, one of the two

I too carry a BFE (bicycle fire extinguisher). I got the ultra-light version from REI. A bit pricey, but oh-so-worth-it.
Unfortunately, this will probably devolve into a 20+ page for and against thread, just like disc/rim brake threads, then get locked due to the nasty bickering. Oh, well....

Of course. How else would I power my air horn?
Flip it around and it's good for emergency propulsion as well.

True story. Way back when I was, maybe 13-14 and in Boy Scouts, we had a Scoutmaster that was a bit of a jerk. At the end of every campout, he would come to our campsite and stick his hands all in the fire pit/ashes/coals to make sure everything was cool. He wanted it to be wet and always made a big scene of stirring up that mush of wet ashes and coals with his bare hands. Once he came to our extinguished fire and did his usual ritual and loudly declared we had not done a sufficient job of extinguishing our campfire. Then he berated us and and harshly scolded us, vowing to return in 5 minutes and it better, by gosh, be COLD and WET!!!
Well, no one really wanted to tote water from the creek nor empty our canteens. So we did what any reasonable young male would do and "extinguished" the fire by emptying our "water" into the ashes and coals. Sure enough he returned as he had vowed, and buried his hands up to his wrists, stirring and turning the ashes and dead coals. Of course in spite of our giggling, we held it together as best we could but I believe he suspected what had transpired when he stood up suddenly, mumbling about NOW it was extinguished and hurried off quickly toward his campsite.

There's not much that's flammable on a bicycle. Tires and rim brake pads? I guess carbon frames are flammable with enough heat applied. *shrug*

Bar tape. Cable housing. Some saddle material. Plastic bells. Wicker baskets. Streamers. Baseball bards in the spokes. Patch kit glue. The entire frame if it's made of bamboo. Bicycles are veritable fire traps just waiting to maim and even kill.

No, but maybe we should have carries one. However at this stage, a fire extinguisher would not be the right tool for the job. We called it in and it took the fire fighters a while to get it out.

Is that the equivalent of Isaac, the bartender from The Love Boat, "Dancing til his feet smelled like bacon"?

I rode passed a roadside brush fire on Cycle Oregon back in 2012, although it wasn't as large. It was odd because we were in the "Oregon Outback" and there was nothing or no one around. Hadn't been any storms recently. I had to wonder how it got started. Tossed cigarette was the only thing I could think of.

I carry a fire extinguisher to put out valve cap fires.
It has never happened but with all that friction they cause,
you can't be too careful.
