I take fitment seriously...

I've started taking growth hormone, and am looking into bone graft surgery in China.

Sure, you can point it out or raise the question, but if the OP makes it clear they are not interested in going there, it is pretty pointless to keep blathering on about it, especially when you don't even have any of the information needed to be talking intelligently about the OPs situation to start with.

I like the way you think.

Short stems and shorter top tubes are a kludge fix when what you REALLY need are longer arms.

Hope to kill two birds with one stone. My eyes are getting more and more farsighted. Another reason for longer arms - to hold reading material farther out. Win/win, i think...

Just make sure you aren't racing. Wouldn't want you to run afoul with WADA

If you nonetheless insist on lecturing him about his fit issues (even though you admittedly do not know the first thing about his fit on the bike or what he is trying to do), then don’t be offended if you are told to take a hike.

Of course, I get it, we didn't want to fix a problem we just want to go with a quick slap dash means of sort of making it work-ish. I full understood that, that is why I gave my answer. I want to do things right and talk about fit. Again as I have stated which people cannot seem to read I like to figure out why and how we can actually solve a problem. I don't like to mask the problem and really super short stems aside from a mountain bike with long handlebars usually indicates a problem with the bike.

I am sorry to all who are offended that I dare try and get to the root of the problem rather than just saying "whatever, go buy stuff".
