You missed out, because Excel Sports had 2 packs of the tires for like $65 just a few days ago.

I have a set of these and love them. I keep seeing ads and websites since I bought mine over 2 years ago saying they have colors, yet have only seen black or reflective (rarely). Do the color versions actually exist here in the US? Or is it just wishful thinking.

I would not buy those tires again, they cut very easy and not puncture resistant as they say. My first set did not last 400 miles, 6 flats. For some reason I decided to try another pair, first 10 miles on a paved trail I got a cut and small puncture. So I went and bought tire liners, went to ride got 20ft side wall blew out approx. 35 miles on those tires. I did love the way they roll.....

It's funny how people have such different experiences. I liked all these things on my gp4000's:
- Roll fast
- Very grippy
- Rain grip is still solid
- No flats in 2 years of riding

Didn't like:
- The "feel" of the tire riding it, aka the way they roll

Go figure... :-)

They're even cheaper on xxcycle.com. I just got a pair from them but haven't mounted them yet. I hope I like them.

Just looked it up on the employee ordering page, I only see black and black/reflective. We occasionally get things on there that aren't sold through distributors in the US, but I don't see any colored GP.

Thanks. I went back and checked, and found the US retailers no longer have the colors listed, and they are not on the Continental website for 2018. Thee wbsite now shows they have reflex, black and also show one transparent sidewall (?) in the 23x700c.

NP. Looks like the only cool thing we have right now is the 4 Seasons in a complete black sidewall
