Prescription cycling glasses suggestion (Abdul Jabbar jobbers)?

iím wearing business glasses while cycling as a work out and this is just dumb. just canít see putting in contacts every time i ride. but i canít find anything i like. oakley doesnít seem to cut it.
i ride a motorcycle and none of the suggestions there seemed to work.
any ideas? whatever i spend on them would be saved if i had an accident and dropped my business glasses (they cost a pretty penny and i wouldnít have any glasses).
any wraparound abdul jabber styles out there? something funky but could be used on a daily basis?!
thanks for any help
jon

I've heard good things about Zenni and they're inexpensive. https://www.zennioptical.com/sports-glasses

I like these Liberty Sportglasses. These are blended bifocal. Silicone nosepiece and rubber surfaces inside the ear pieces. Google "Liberty Sport". They also come with black frames. These are from Lenscrafters.

I am using Tifosi Veloce, They have an option for day / night w/ contrast with my prescription. You can change out the lenses as well. I got them through Sportrx.com. Fairly inexpensive , and extremely comfortable.

I don't know what "doesn't seem to cut it" means but this statement is inconsistent with what hundreds of thousands of cyclists find to be true.

Oakley are probably the most respected brand of sports glasses made and with good reason. I'd challenge you to try a pair. Optical clarity is second to none.

hi tim

thanks for the feedback. maybe iíll try them again. i was at the mall (i hate the mall) and the salespeople were helpful but not so knowledgeable. didnít know much about impact or prescriptions. they also seemed almost uninterested in helping. then there were these poseurs in there that seemed to be buying them just to be cool. then i tried on like 14 pairs and none seemed to fit right. was kind of hoping for some old school simple abdul jabbar type google eyes.
i know the guys on the tour de france look uber cool in them they just seemed cheap to me (sonít hate on me!).
are there a couple models i should look at??
THANKS
