If you didnt ride your bicycle; for that interim of time, what do you think you'd be doing or potentially getting involved with?

I think I'd have a part time job and not be as nutrition conscious.

. . . surfing or body boarding. Also some target shooting. The joints just don't take kindly to running anymore, but if they did I'd be doing that, too.

I'd be riding my Ducati more and I'd be into some of the psychic stuff I do a lot more. And, yes, I'd be fatter and out of shape.

Yep. Last time I quit riding frequently (due to living in a place with horrible weather and even worse infrastructure), it was a lot of gaming. I think I played Borderlands 2 through like five times.

At this point, if I wasn't riding, I'd probably be laid up in a hospital or otherwise severely injured...I can't think of many other things that would keep me from riding!

As others have said, fat. I was 204 lb and getting heavier when a doctor told me I should lose weight. I'm now 175 lb and much fitter. Also much better off - taking the train to work costs me around £40 per week, but it's been 5 weeks since I last took the train. Not to mention the cost of all the books I read when I travel by train.

Fat, definitely fat again. Probably perpetually stressed and miserable. Far more than stressing over how much tires, chains, cassettes, cables, lube, etc costs. I would have more money.

Most hours of any given day are not spent on a bike, so I don't understand the question.

Bass fishing, which usually gets in the way of bike riding , playing my guitar, or spending time with my wife.

Ah, an excellent choice particularly since it was my 3rd love after cycling and running. In fact, there was a time when I quit both to focus totally on the weights. Nowadays, I cycle between them.

Let's see...So far today, for the interim of time I have not been riding my bike, I slept, woke up, fed the cat, made and drank some coffee, watched the morning news while eating a bagel with strawberry conserve, put some junk mail in the recycling bag, took a little laydown, played around on the computer, used the bathroom, took a shower, brushed my teeth, put on deodorant, got dressed to ride to work, scooped cat poop, gave the cat more food and changed his water, gave the cat some pets, packed up things for work, put on my cycling shoes, turned down the AC, said goodbye to kitty, donned my messenger bag and helmet and took the bike outside. After my ride to work, I locked the bike under cover because it might rain, walked to my office building, took the elevator to the 13th floor, entered my office suite, talked to my admin. and another worker, went into my office, took off my cycling shoes and socks, logged onto the computer and started surfing BF. Pretty soon I will change into work attire.

I will keep updating this post with more activities I engage in during the interim of time I am not riding my bike.
