Midwest Frame Painters????
So, I have a 5 year old carbon fiber road bike. Love it. Hate the color...LOL Its flat blackand white. When i bought it i thought the flat would grow on me but it never did. So, Instead of buying a whole new bike I have been thinking about having the frame painted. Is there anyone in the Midwest that does it? Anyone guess on a price?

Check out Drew Wilson at Cyclocarbon -- he does carbon repair but based on his FB and Instagram it looks like he does paint as well. He's somewhere in Minnesota. "Midwest" is pretty broad so I'm not sure how far you want to drive.
I'd suggest Groody Brothers in Kansas City but they only do powdercoating which doesn't work on carbon. |

framebuilder for 4 decades now, has a paint booth, and much of what he now does are restorations. I have a bike he painted and have seen dozens more- excellent quality. price completely depends on number of colors and style(pearl, candy, etc). $400-1000 is a wild guess range due to options. |
