Thousand Heritage helmet, anyone have one?

Curious if anyone has a Thousand Heritage helmet. I love the design and am considering getting one for my FX and casual rides around town

I can appreciate the design but it looks like it would be uncomfortably hot for warm weather use. I have a Bern Brentwood in brain roasting matte black and it has more ventilation than that Thousand. The Thousand might be a nice rainy day helmet. The price seems reasonable if the quality is decent.

I have one and it is marketed under a slightly different name here in the U.K.: Thousand Navy Poplock Bicycle Helmet. It looks great but I wouldnít wear one for any real cycling rides!

The Poplock feature is a push-out disc on the side of the helmet which allows a bicycle lock to be used to secure the helmet.

Itís lovely as a collectorís item and I very occasionally wear it for short rides on my cruiser.

The fit is not great and I had to send the first one that I ordered back to get the next size up as I was between sizes.

The problem is the lack of cranial adjustment. Itís essentially a hard pot that sits on your head. The magnetic clasp feature for the strap is a gimmick and quite fiddly to operate.

Then thereís the issue with ventilation. Thereís little to no ventilation whilst riding.

So 10/10 for aesthetics and 2/10 as a practical cycling helmet from me.
