From Boston to Medford
 

I am planning on biking to the Middlesex Fells reservation in Medford from Boston possibly tommorow or Tuesday to do some offroading. Does anybody know the best way (or a good one) to get to Medford by bike?

The Rubel map suggested in your other post has all the best biking roads marked. It also marks MTB areas.

It depends if you get the paper or 'waterproof' version, which is printed on a plasticky tyvek material.
The paper maps are like $5, and the waterproof ones are $11.

Since the MBTA allows bikes on subway cars during off-peak hours I'd suggest the following: Orange Line north to Malden station. Rte 60 west from the station to Medford and the Fellsway.
