2018 Red Bull Bay Climb Photos
This is the second year they've held this but my first time to spectate yesterday. Pretty cool and fun day. A little bit of everything.

I couldn't really hear the announcements clearly from where I was hanging out as it was echoing off the houses. So I didn't get times.
Definitely an event to check out. I'll probably be there next year again.

That's what I was thinking. 12% isn't THAT steep. I think that the blip at the top of Mr. Diablo is 20%. Shafer-Ranch Road off of the Dublin Grade is almost a quarter mile of 16% over most of it and the top 100 feet is 13%. A friend of mine took me on a road in Novato that was 24% for a block. It was all I could do to turn the pedals.
I think that 17th St. in San Francisco must be around 20% since the sidewalk has steps on it rather than a straight walk.
